Shikukai Dojo in Miyamae-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa Prefecture, is recruiting members for both children and adults.

Beginners welcome. Parents and children are welcome.

 

Start with a 1-month free trial

No membership fee is required during the trial period, up to one month.
We provide bamboo swords for rent, so you can participate empty-handed.
Only a tour is possible.

*There is no parental duty system (lock-picking, tea duty, etc.).

Training schedule (4 times a week)

Wed. and Fri.
Children from 17:00, Adults from 18:30

Sat/Sun
Children from 8:30 a.m., Adults from 10:30 a.m.

Participation is free. You can practice at your own pace, less or more.

Admission fee 3,000 yen
Monthly membership fee 5,000 yen (*Half price for the third member and thereafter)

Q. Is it OK if I am a complete beginner?
A. Yes, that's okay. We will carefully instruct you from the basics.

Q. How old do I have to be to join?
A. Membership is open to preschoolers and up. Preschool children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

A. Yes, it is possible. Some families practice with both parents and children.

Q. Can I just take a look around?

Q. What should I wear for the experience?
A. Please come in comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement.
