Shikukai Dojo, a kendo dojo in Miyamae Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Founded in 1989, it aims to provide international Bushido education for adults through kendo and to foster the healthy development of children. The name Shikukai embodies the wish that “even as adults, they will continue to cherish kendo for a long time.” While long committed to the sound development of youth, in recent years it has also focused on Bushido education through practice and instructs kendo practitioners from overseas.
At Shikukai Dojo, we support the growth of both mind and body through kendo. Under the careful guidance of experienced instructors, you will learn courtesy, concentration, and cooperation with your peers. From children to adults, from beginners to experienced players, we provide an environment where you can grow at your own pace. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to interact with kendoka from Japan and abroad, and experience the joy of connecting with the world through kendo.
